Silent Impact by Joe Schmidt
We hope that you enjoyed our guest speaker Joe Schmidt and his inspirational and entertaining speech about purpose, persistence, and passion. We certainly did! Here are a few of our favorite quotes.
“We make our biggest impressions when we are not trying to be impressive.”
“Sometimes it’s the little things that make the biggest impact.”
“We all have a gift, make sure that you’re using it.”
“People won’t remember what you said or what you did, but they will remember how you made them feel.”
“Spend 90% of your time on the good stuff and only 10% of your time on the bad.”
“So many times we get so caught up in the destination that we forget to enjoy the journey.”
“If you want to be the best, you need to be better prepared than everyone else.”
“Be persistent in your passion.”
“Say a second “thank you” to those who made an impact in your life.”
“Think about who you would put on you Mt. Rushmore of impact. Simulate your life after those people.”
“Praise more, condemn less. There’s always something good to say about everyone.”
And how could we forget this one….“It don’t get no better than this!” It certainly doesn’t! We were thrilled that Joe shared a copy of this book“Silent Impact” with each of us. We couldn’t have had a better night. Thank you for being part of it!
